Ohope Chartered Club
The Ohope Chartered Club is a sports and social club for locals and visitors and is a member of the Clubs of New Zealand.
Clubs of New Zealand incorporate over 380 clubs such as workingmens' clubs, R.S.A clubs and chartered clubs. Visiting members of these clubs are welcome. We would appreciate all visitors to be signed in at the door.

Ohope Craft Market
A large regional market with a wide range of local arts and crafts, delicious artisan foods, plants and produce. An ideal spot to find gifts and souvenirs. Markets held 1st Saturday of the month from 8am - 1pm during winter and during summer months are twice a month - 1st Saturday and middle Saturday of the month. Ohope Lions Garage Sale
The local Ohope Lions Club holds a garage sale the 1st Sunday of every month on Harbour Road , close to Anne Street. "Someone's trash is someone else's treasure"!
Get along and grab a bargain. All proceeds go towards supporting local events, groups and activities.

Ohope Tennis Club
The Ohope Tennis Clup is located on Pohutukawa Avenue opposite the Ohope School. There is a very reasonable annual family membership fee of only $65 or $30 annual single membership fee. Membership can be paid at the Ohope Medical Centre or send to Mrs Elsie Tunnicliffe, 46 Hoterini Street, Ohope. Visitors are welcome to use the courts and there is a donation box at the courts - please support us!

Surf Club
The local Ohope Surf Club is very active and has representatives competiting at National levels. We are also proud hosts of the 2014 New Zealand Surf Lifesaving Championships and welcome any sponsors to help make this an unforgetable event. Kiwi Bach and Holiday Homes were proud sponsors of the local Monty's Maidens who took out the Open Division Short Course Surf Boat Title at Ohope in 2010.

Tri Club
We have a very enthusiastic local Tri Club which holds an event on the 1st Sunday of the month at the Ohope Boat Ramp. Kids races start at 10am, Adults kick off at 11am. Everyone welcome.
